Combing detail pencil line with loose water colour shapes to represent jewellery.
Here I have added fine liner to outline and differentiate the shape of the necklace.
I think there is too much media used in this technique which I feel over complicates the illustration and makes the the 2 elements (the face and the jewllery) sit oddly next to each other.
