Promotional pack 2

though i have already got a promo pack design...which i thought would be the most practical and simplest promo pack to make...turns out this design is much more simpler and is still practical for me to reproduce when i dont have a a3 printer at hand. i think it is more straight forward and therefore may appeal to be more professional to potential clients.

i like the idea that i could send this out to clients i may have agreed work for with my acceptance of commission letter and invoice in the sleeve which holds my cv in.
i also like how the post cards are loose and i can add as many or as little as i want depending on the client.

thought the designs above continues my brand design which should become recogniable to me (after applying everywhere!) im not sure weather i feel the split pencil design layout is becoming overused, ive seen a few people have used a repeated subtle patten for the backdrops of their packs and promotional materials so i thought about doing the same with mine, spliting the pencils like the sketch above.

.... i dont think it works behind my promo- materials on the inside of my pack, i think it detracts attention away from the promo-materials and over complicates.

buisness cards design 1

business card design 2

however... i think the design does works on a business card, working better as a repeat pattern without text which can be added to the back of the card.
though i do like this design, i don't think it is very representative of my practice and the appreciation of the detailed process of creating the details on the pencils have been lost.
