it was nice to see a book that uses detailed, nearly photo realistic illustrations. i have always ruled out book illustration as i thouhgt the majority of work used in books is more stylised character design - something that i dont/can't really do, so it was nice to detailed work is used and i could potentially apply my drawing techniques to book illustration. -opening pathways!!!
